Partying With the 35 Most Powerful People in Media

If you are a television fanatic like me, then you would understand the level of excitement I had when I was invited by The Hollywood Reporter to help honor the 35 Most Powerful People in Media. Being surrounded by so many influential power players, I got goosebumps every time I recognized a familiar face. Walking confidently into the party with my edgy patchwork dress designed by the brilliant Rubin Singer, accompanied with accessories from Elena Ghisellni and stylish heeled sandals by Stuart Weitzman. This cocktail party was a night made for stars and I knew that I was in the right place.

The women empowerment was a strong force to be reckoned with at tonight’s event. There were so many women here who have made such an impact in television, journalism and politics; I was honored to have been in the presence of such great people. Television anchors such as the hilariously intelligent Samantha Bee, the fiery New York native Megyn Kelly and history making Hoda Kotb were just a few names in attendance.  In addition to political greatness, the legendary Anna Wintour  was an honoree and looking amazing as always and so effortlessly.  Taking over and changing whole dynamics of a magazine company to creating fashion history, Anna Wintor has so many years ahead to continue to be the genius she is.

Congratulations to the women who have taken a stand and continued to break barriers for other women who are fighting to make it in media entertainment. As an advocate of finding the cure towards breast cancer, I always commend the beautiful and talented, Good Morning America Co- Host Robin Roberts for continuing to have faith and winning her fight against the disease.  The definition of being resilient, Mrs. Roberts has always inspired me to look at the world in it’s entirety, by forcing me to think of ways to help make it into a better place.
